ACLS/COVID-19 Ventilator Reskilling Confidence Bundle (Limited time only)

There has been high demand for ventilator management in the acute setting due to COVID-19. Healthcare providers ready to advance their skills with the HeartCode® ACLS course can now add critical mechanical ventilation knowledge –important in managing complex COVID-19 patients. Healthcare providers may be tasked with managing complex COVID-19 patients with minimal understanding of mechanical ventilation or may be called to assist in critical care roles that are beyond their routine daily activities. Taking the COVID-19 Ventilator Reskilling course with HeartCode ACLS can allow for improved mechanical ventilation knowledge and confidence.

HeartCode ACLS is the blended learning delivery method for the American Heart Association ACLS Course. Healthcare providers first complete the online portion of HeartCode ACLS and then complete a hands-on skills session with an AHA ACLS Instructor or on a simulation station. To enter the course, participants must complete a precourse self-assessment. A course completion card is issued upon successful completion of the ACLS Course,

The COVID -19 Ventilator Reskilling Course is a one-hour self-directed, eLearning course designed to help healthcare providers improve knowledge and competence in mechanical ventilation skills. At the beginning of the course, participants can identify their skill level and the course continuously uses knowledge checks to measure level of knowledge and adjust the focus of the content. A completion certificate is issued upon successful completion of the course.
