The Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Course Digital Videos include the required video segments for the Instructor-led and blended-learning options of the PALS Course and the Instructor-led update course. These digital videos allow Instructors to stream from a browser with an internet connection, or download video for offline viewing with the AHA eBooks Desktop App (Windows or Mac) or Mobile App (iOS or Android).
The PALS Course Digital Videos are to be used by PALS Instructors to teach the PALS Provider Course. These videos are intended for use by a single AHA Instructor conducting AHA courses. All International Instructors in the discipline are required to have their own AHA Course Digital Video.
PALS uses a series of videos and simulated pediatric emergencies to reinforce the important concepts of a systematic approach to pediatric assessment, basic life support, PALS treatment algorithms, effective resuscitation, and team dynamics.
