PALS Description
International English (IVE) materials have been adapted for training outside of the United States and Canada. IVE training materials have been updated to include metric units of measure and other references that do not apply to students in the U.S. and Canada. The IVE Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Provider Manual eBook is the electronic equivalent of the AHA’s IVE PALS Provider Manual. It offers a digital alternative to the printed manual and contains all the information students need to successfully complete the IVE PALS Course. Designed for a single user, this manual is ideal for use as a reference tool before, during and after the IVE PALS Course.

Audience
The PALS Course is for healthcare providers who either direct or participate in the management of respiratory and/or cardiovascular emergencies and cardiopulmonary arrest in pediatric patients. This includes personnel in emergency response, emergency medicine, intensive care, and critical care units such as physicians, nurses, paramedics, and others who need a PALS Course Completion Card for job or other requirements.
